We all value the world of plants and animals, forest and grassland, rivers and lakes, soil and rock, air and light in our own unique way.

How we acquire, record and pass on our values and knowledge is important. This is how individuals & communities make decisions about land and water use, climate change, environmental repair and sustainability.

Welcome to Plains Talking - a community natural history web site that, as it grows, will continue to celebrate and acknowledge the creativity and caring of the community of the Southern Riverine Plain of South West New South Wales, Australia.
