The Collection to date:
Stories | Poems | Interviews
The 'Plains Talking Workshops' were organised by the Southern Riverina Field Naturalists and funded by Land and Water Australia.

The story creation and writing workshops held in Deniliquin during January 2003 in conjunction with the 'Where We Live Expo' currently running in the Peppin Heritage Centre. Work created by workshop participants form the initial contributions below.

Help us celebrate the natural history of the Southern Riverine Plain ( the land, the waterways and airways, the native plant and animal communities) and those who love and care for it. You can submit a story, poem, song, or image for publication on this website.

Let's build up a collection that acknowledges and records the importance and beauty of the area.

Let's create a collection that inspires and supports others to look and act as well.
